Exam Description and Preparation

box-provider The following is a simplified list of the examinations and procedures for which our radiologists have special expertise. Click the name of the study and you will be directed to the RadiologyInfo.Org website for a full description of the study. RadiologyInfo.org is a joint venture between the American College of Radiology (ACR) and the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA), both of which serve as the worldwide gold standard for the dissemination of radiology information. RadiologyInfo.Org is an excellent source of information about all radiological studies. Many of the links feature an easy to understand video presentation and all of the explanations can be printed for convenient reference. A specific list of examinations that RMR performs can be found under the “Examination We Perform” section in the “For Patients” drop down menu. These listings also include general examination preparation guidelines.

As the field of radiology is dynamic and ever changing, some newer studies may not be listed. Also note that not all examinations are performed at every site that RMR covers. Rest assured that the radiologists of RMR are highly trained in the performance and interpretation of these studies.
