Bridget N. Lauro, M.D.
Dr. Lauro grew up in Oklahoma City. An elite national junior tennis player, National Merit Scholar and valedictorian of her college preparatory high school, she attended Princeton University where she graduated in 1996 Academic All Ivy with a degree in Psychology (Program in Neuroscience), having played #1 singles and doubles tennis for 4 years. After deferring medical school for a year to play on the professional tennis tour, she received her MD at Vanderbilt School of Medicine in 2001, completed internship at HealthOne Presbyterian St. Luke's Hospital in Denver and then continued on to Seattle for residency training at the University of Washington. In 2006, Dr. Lauro returned to Denver, receiving fellowship training in Musculoskeletal Imaging at the University of Colorado supplemented with a visiting fellowship at NOIA (National Orthopedic Imaging Associates). She joined Rocky Mountain Radiologists in 2007 where she does general radiology with subspecialty expertise in MSK/Sports Imaging, also serving as Regional Medical Director for Touchstone Imaging and Director of Recruitment since 2010.
An avid lover of athletics, travel and the outdoors, Dr. Lauro lives in Evergreen with her husband and three daughters, enjoying skiing, mountain biking and running in her free time.
