Scott B. Loomis, M.D.

Dr. Scott Loomis grew up in the coastal village of Yarmouth, Maine. He attended Williams College and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics. He then turned his focus to his love of skiing and spent several years as a professional cross-country ski racer based in Park City, UT. During this time he competed worldwide as a member of the U.S. Ski Team. Following his ski career, he attended Tufts University School of Medicine where he was elected as a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. He completed his Radiology residency in 2013 at the University of Vermont, where he also acted as Chief Resident. Dr. Loomis then pursued a fellowship in Abdominal Radiology at the University of Wisconsin in Madison, WI.

Dr. Loomis joined Rocky Mountain Radiologists, PC, in July of 2014. His areas of interest include abdominal/pelvic imaging and oncologic imaging. He and his wife and three children are all excited to be living in the mountains again. They enjoy taking advantage of all that the mountains have to offer including running, hiking, biking and skiing.
