Virginia L. Scroggins, M.D.

Dr. Scroggins grew up in Tyler, Texas. She attended Texas A&M University where she graduated Magna cum Laude with University and Foundation Honors. She went on to study medicine at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas. Her internal medicine internship was completed at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Her diagnostic radiology residency was in Houston at the University of Texas Health Science Center, where she was able to train at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She was chosen by her peers to be chief resident in 2005. She was honored to have been selected to participate in the Musculoskeletal Imaging Fellowship at National Orthopedic Imaging Associates in San Francisco, California.

Dr. Scroggins has been an active member of the American College of Radiology. She joined Rocky Mountain Radiologists in April 2009, specializing in Musculoskeletal MRI. She enjoys living in Colorado with her husband and two young children.
